The Bible is our guide to life, not just because it’s inspiring, but because it’s absolutely true.
Below are the key beliefs that form the foundation of our faith and community:
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, resurrection, ascension, ongoing intercession, and His imminent return.
The Holy Spirit is active in the Church, offering both fruit and spiritual gifts to believers.
The Bible is God’s living Word — infallible, authoritative, and everlasting — and forms the foundation of all Christian beliefs.
We acknowledge the existence of the devil, an evil spiritual being.
All people are spiritually lost and need to be born again through faith in Jesus Christ.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift for believers after new birth, often evidenced by speaking in tongues.
We practice two sacraments: the Lord’s Supper and baptism by full immersion for all believers.
There will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost — the saved to eternal life, the lost to eternal separation from God.
The church is the body of Christ; each member is called to be active in a local church and carry out the Great Commission.
Marriage is God’s institution, affirmed by Jesus, between one man and one woman, symbolizing Christ’s relationship with the church.
Sex is a gift from God designed for procreation and unity, appropriate only within marriage.
